IP Cameras

vivotek IP3121

The vivotek 3121 is an exceptional all round MPEG4 camera with a codec that works down to narrowband speeds – a 128K ISDN connection provides superb full motion video that gets better with broadband DSL. Modem dial-up and dial-in is offered as standard. Ideal for home users and small businesses. vivotek have accessories that allow the product to be used indoors and outdoors with a range of lenses to support most applications. A number of different events can be used to trigger the capture of 3 picture stills that can be stored in the camera for retrieval or transmitted to a pre-determined location such as a mobile phone.

icantek 110

The icantek 110 is a broadband MPEG4 camera that offers similar functionality to the vivotek product but with the additional feature of triggering on events and storing up to one minute of real time video for immediate or later retrieval over broadband. It has bi-directional audio as standard. The icantek 110 is geared to small and medium sized business users.

IP Video Servers

vivotek VS3102

The vivotek VS3102 is a compact stand-alone single port MPEG 4 video server that supports a number of traditional CCTV PAN/TILT/ZOOM (PTZ) cameras including leading brands such as Sony. Take a standard and accepted CCTV PTZ camera and connect the composite video and PTZ control wires to the VS3102. Connect the VS3102 to narrowband or broadband and control the camera from the central command and control centre in the same way as existing CCTV installations. Some Prikinu customers are integrating the VS3102 into their CCTV cameras to produce a hybrid IP Camera. However the VS3102 is implemented, significant savings are made on the backhaul.

icantek 440

The icantek 440 is a 4-port MPEG4 video server with 4 bi-directional audio channels that can share one broadband connection for traditional CCTV applications. It can be used to provide comprehensive surveillance of the home or business. As with the VS3102 a range of PTZ cameras are supported and drivers for new cameras can be easily added. The hardware and software build quality of icantek products is quite exceptional.

IP Video Recorders

icantek 440R

The icantek 440R is a world first and Prikinu are proud to include this unique technology in their portfolio. The 440R is the first IP product to offer quadplex functionality – view, record, download and playback all at the same time. Why is this unique? It allows the customer to use the most cost-effective backhaul – the Internet. Until now security applications have required a dedicated backhaul connection to ensure quality of service (QoS). The public Internet has no guarantees on QoS and viewing and recording remotely may not produce ideal results. However the 440R has the ability to record locally and store full motion video and audio on all 4 channels for up to a week. This means that a remote CCTV control centre can view locally and record remotely or/and locally. Downloading the video and audio from the remote video server guarantees excellent quality.
